Our Fall meeting will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Albertus Magnus College. NEHA invites papers on any historical topic, time period, or theme. NEHA Conference is ON

We have gotten some inquiries today (Friday April 19, 2013) due to the lockdown of Boston and immediate communities. As of now (5:00 pm Friday) the conference is ON and going forward as planned at Westfield State University. CFP Extended to Feb 15, 2013

The deadline for submitting paper or panel proposals for the Spring 2013 NEHA meeting has been extended to February 15, 2013. We welcome submissions for individual papers or for entire panels, on any topic or era of history. The meeting will be held Saturday, April 20th at Westfield State University in Westfield, MA. Beware of Post-Conference Scammers!

Several of our fall conference participants have reported receiving emails from a company offering to print their conference papers in a journal called History Research. Please be warned that this is a pay-to-print journal, not a peer-reviewed scholarly one, and that their email is an academic phishing scam. All presenters at NEHA conferences are strongly advised to make inquiries about any unsolicited offer to publish, in particular in a journal unknown to the presenter.
