Members of the Board of Directors of the New England Historical Association are pleased to announce that the first annual NEHA research grant will be awarded in February 2024. The NEHA research grant will provide up to $1,250 in a one-time grant to help them meet the costs of travel and research at archives, libraries, museums, parks, and other historical sites. Anyone who has been an active NEHA member for at least four years may apply.
Applications should be submitted to Tona Hangen, the Executive Secretary (neha.execsec@gmail.com ) by November 1, 2023 for consideration.
The grant must be used within the calendar year of 2024, and can be used for any research-related expenses including travel. The recipient is expected to present grant-funded research findings at an upcoming NEHA conference, and to acknowledge the grant in resultant publications.
